family snaps
photo-paintings (not photo-realism). These paintings are about the passing of time, photography and memory, the ways reality eludes our grasp or reaches us only in the form of shadows. They are personal paintings about myself and my family but they are also about everyone, and about how as we live our lives are absorbed into history.
